This event will spotlight global efforts to strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems for climate-related health impacts, in alignment with the Belém Health Action Plan.

It will explore global and country efforts to strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems for health and climate change, focusing on indicator development, lessons from international frameworks, and strategies to operationalise the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA).

Discussions will consider approaches to refine climate-health indicators and leverage evidence to better integrate health into national climate policies and finance strategies, informing pathways towards COP31.
