Axolile Mcoteli is a Communications Assistant supporting the Lancet Countdown Africa Regional Centre, hosted at Future Africa, University of Pretoria. Axolile supports the Centre’s communications, translating research and evidence on climate change, environmental change and public health into accessible and engaging stories, infographics and digital content. Her work also includes content development, social media, events, branding and internal communications. Her interests include Development Studies, sustainable development and the social and policy dimensions of climate and health. She is passionate about making complex research accessible and connecting evidence with conversations shaping Africa’s future.
