Daniel is a senior research fellow in energy systems modelling at UCL’s Institute of Sustainable Resources. He has an EngD in the technoeconomics of energy storage, and his research focuses on transitioning to sustainable, affordable and reliable energy systems. His previous work includes economic modelling, scenario analysis, hydrogen, storage, heat decarbonisation and hard-to-abate sectors. Daniel’s work with the Lancet Countdown looks as the economics and finance of climate change health impacts and the transition to zero-emission economies.
