Fereidoon Owfi is a senior researcher. He received his M. Sc. in “Fisheries Sciences” in 2005, and PhD in “Marine Fishery Ecology” in 2015. He is working in “Iranian Fisheries Science Research Institute” (IFSRI) as Assistant Professor, and Director of Marine Ecology Department. He has been working in the field of fishery ecology and marine eco-biology since 1990. Owfi has been focused in climate change as well as its impacts assessment on fishery activities, biodiversity and sensitive marine-coastal habitats, emphasis in indicator species and ecosystems; meanwhile, he has been involved with Lancet Countdown since 2016.
