Dr Frank Pega is a Technical Officer in the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland. His responsibilities include the monitoring of workers’ health, including the WHO/International Labour Organization Joint Estimates of the Work-related Burden of Disease and Injury, and the conduct of environmental health economic evaluation and analysis for the Department, including coordinating WHO’s first investment case for environment, climate change and health. By training, Dr Pega is an epidemiologist and health economist.
