Maria Walawender is the global research fellow with the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change. In this role, she coordinates the development, drafting, and submission of the global annual indicator report. She manages a database of the nearly 50 indicators that make up the report and helps to share findings through policy, communications, and data visualization products. She also contributes to the reports of regional centres, through both technical and editorial support. Maria holds a Master of Science in Public Health from Emory University.
