Marisol is a dedicated Environmental Health expert with a degree on Environmental Health from the University of Costa Rica and a master’s in International Health from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Currently, she serves as an external researcher at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and a consultant for the World Health Organization, focusing on heat-health action planning. Her extensive experience as a humanitarian worker with Doctors Without Borders has taken her across Latin America, Asia, and Africa, where she has contributed to environmental and public health projects.
