Dr Olga Gasparyan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at Florida State University. She received her PhD in Political Science from the University of Rochester and held a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Data Science Lab at Hertie School. Her research lies in the fields of comparative political economy, public policy, and visual studies, and is conducted with an application of causal inference and machine learning and deep learning models. She is a member of the Lancet Countdown team, where she contributes by computationally analyzing climate change rhetoric of the public, media, and international organizations.
