Stefan Trück is a Professor of Business Analytics and the Director of Macquarie University’s Centre for Transforming Energy Markets. He is also the recipient of a prestigious ARC Future Fellowship that is provided by the Australian Government to support outstanding mid-career researchers. Previously, he has held positions at Queensland University of Technology and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, where he received a PhD in Business Engineering. Stefan’s research interests focus on risk management, financial econometrics and business analytics, including the fields of energy and commodity markets, climate change economics, carbon markets, credit risk, systemic risk, and cyber risk.
