Dr Gordon-Strachan holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of the West Indies and an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. Dr. Gordon-Strachan received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for excellence in research in 2019. She serves as the Director of the Tropical Metabolism Research Unit at the Caribbean Institute for Health Research, University of the West Indies.
